When I woke up today, I almost postponed my morning walk. After giving thanks for the day, all my excuses for why I was not going walking came:

1. I hadn't slept well

2. 1 was in pain

3.1 had a morning appointment

4.It looked like it was going to rain

5. It was okay if I missed today, I had walked yesterday and I could do it tomorrow.

But I went.

I enjoyed the walk. When I changed directions to return home, I saw the most beautiful scene; a rainbow, the sun, and the clouds. I was mesmerized. The rainbow was evolving as I watched. As the size of the clouds grew, the rainbow moved higher. On the other side of the rainbow. It was bright and sunny, no clouds.

Think about this - the presence of the clouds does not negate the presence of the promise. Don't believe because there are challenges, frustrations, delays and disappointment's (clouds) that God's promise to us doesn't stand (rainbow).

As we grow through all of those, maybe we get closer to seeing His fulfilled promise. Let us not miss the fulfillment of His promises in our life. As He is faithful, so must we be persistent.
